This study contains the update of the 1993 Fresno Rail Consolidation Analysis, Design and Proposal. It was prepared for the Council of Fresno County Governments by HDR Engineering.  The original study done in 1993 contained proof that the project was doable and a cost of $206 million dollars at that time. This update study estimates those basic same costs at $319 million.  In addition, it contains a new proposal for a "shared"  three track alignment costed at $282 million.

The document is voluminous to say the least, the report is 217 pages in length including maps and is 13,671 kb in size.  Depending on your connection, download time may be very lengthy.
