A southbound Burlington Northern Santa Fe freight
train passes through downtown Fresno. More than 15,300
loads of about 300 types of hazardous materials went

next door The same is true for
people who live near the tracks. They have visions of
disaster when a train makes an unusual squeal, but such
thoughts vanish quickly. There is no use living in fear,
they say.

Survivor's StoryIt's 6 a.m. and
I'm surrounded by bicyclists who look like they ride
with the U.S. Postal Service team. In fact, there are a
few people riding the bike Lance Armstrong is riding in
the Tour de France. I'm beginning to understand why

questions are answered in "Austin Powers in Goldmember,"
including the all-important revelation that a certain
part of Mini-Me's heretofore unveiled anatomy most
definitely exceeds his height-weight proportions. (Come
now, you were just arguing over that at the water
cooler, right?)

over again I returned
from the future just this morning, thanks to a great
deal I got from DreamWorks on a used time machine. And I
have wondrous movie news to share with you. Years from
now, we'll still be able to enjoy the same high caliber
of ground-breaking entertainment that we enjoy today.
Who says Hollywood isn't creative?
